Can I use a program I buy on more than one computer (for example, at home and at work)?
Probably. Our license policy is that for each copy of a program you buy:
-
You can use that copy on a single computer, no matter how many people use that computer.
-
You can also use it on an additional computer if (and only if) you're the primary user of both computers.
We do ask that you buy a copy for each user if there is more than one computer involved, and the main user of each computer is a different person.
Some specific examples:
-
A husband and wife that share the same computer only need to pay for one copy (because it's being used only on a single computer).
-
If you have both a desktop computer and a laptop computer, you only need to pay for one copy (because you're the primary user of both computers).
-
If you have both a work computer and a home computer, you only need to pay for one copy (again, you're the primary user of both computers).
-
A husband and wife who have separate computers should pay for two copies (because there's more than one computer involved, and the main user of each computer is a different person).
-
Three co-workers who each have their own computer should pay for three copies (again, there's more than one computer involved, and the main user of each computer is a different person).
Remember, extra copies of any program are half-price so it's easy to follow this common-sense license agreement.
