If a message appears that says the setup program "expects a new version of Windows" and tells you to "upgrade your windows version", that message is probably incorrect. Holiday Lights is compatible with Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4, and Windows 2000.

In fact, the problem is most likely that your Holiday Lights download is damaged, and the setup program can't be opened. (Unfortunately, the erroneous error message is displayed by Windows itself, not Holiday Lights, so we can't change it.)

Simply throw away the setup program you downloaded, then try downloading another copy. If you still have trouble, our downloading page allows you to have the file sent by e-mail, which may be more reliable.
