How do I remove a MIDI file I've added?

If you're using Holiday Lights 5.0 or later, you can simply right-click on the song name and choose "Remove Song" from the menu that appears. The latest version of Holiday Lights is a free upgrade from our Download Center.

If you're using an older version of Holiday Lights, you can remove any MIDI file using Windows Explorer (your Windows desktop).

Just double-click to open these items in turn:

  • My Computer
  • C: (or whichever disk you installed Holiday Lights on)
  • Program Files
  • Tiger Technologies
  • Holiday Lights
  • Holiday Lights Music

You'll see all the Holiday Lights MIDI files. You can simply throw away any files you don't wish to use (send them to the Recycle Bin).

The next time you open Holiday Lights, the tunes will be gone from the list.
