How can I put the bulbs on top of other windows so they're always visible? Holiday Lights 5.0 and later allows you to display the bulbs above all other windows. (If you prefer, you can still display them only on the desktop in fact, the desktop is the default setting.) If you have an older version of Holiday Lights, use the latest setup program from our Download Center to get this free upgrade. When you have the latest version, use the Holiday Lights Settings window to make the bulbs display on top of other windows. You'll see these buttons in the Bulb Factory tab:
Displaying the bulbs on top of all windows will ensure the bulbs are always visible, but it may be distracting when the bulbs cover up some of your screen. You can't "click through" the bulbs when they cover something up as you can when they're on the desktop. It can also cause Holiday Lights to slow down if you use add-on bulbs that change shape as they animate. Displaying the bulbs on your desktop will speed up Holiday Lights and may be less distracting, but the bulbs will sometimes be covered by other windows. |
