Holiday Lights is running low on memory. How do I fix this?

If you see a message telling you that Holiday Lights is running low on memory, or you have trouble with Holiday Lights after adding a number of custom bulbs or songs, assigning more memory to Holiday Lights should fix this.

First of all, Quit the Holiday Lights program (choose Quit from the File menu).

Then open the "Holiday Lights folder" on your disk, and click once (don't double-click) on the "Holiday Lights" icon you'll see in there.

Now choose "Get Info" from the "File" menu in the Finder. If you're using Mac OS 8.5 or later, choose "Memory" from the popup menu you'll see.

Finally, add 500 to the "Preferred Size" at the bottom of the information window. For example, if it says "1350", change it to "1850".

Use the "Back" button on your browser to return to the previous page.
