Menuette Version History This page lists the changes made in each version of Menuette for those who might be interested. The changes are listed with the most recent version shown first. When you're finished, just click to return to the Menuette page.
If you use the Menuette contextual menu to switch to text menus, that setting is now remembered when you restart. This allows you to use Menuette only to change your menu fonts and display WYSIWYG font menus. This version works around a bug in the Mac OS 8.1 and earlier Key Caps desk accessory that caused a crash when opening Key Caps. Windows are no longer pushed up against the edge of your screen in Mac OS 7.5.3. and earlier. When importing icons, Menuette now becomes the frontmost application so you can always see the progress bar window. Menuette 3.0 would try to always remember the menus of the third party extensions RAM Charger and iTime. Since these menu titles were always changing, Menuette thought each was many different menus. These menus are now ignored. Users of Font Reserve 2.0 and some other font enhancements found that the WYSIWYG Font Menu option in Menuette could cause all menus to be drawn slowly. This problem should be fixed.
