About Menuette

Menuette replaces the boring, old-fashioned words in your Macintosh menu bar (such as File and Edit) with colorful, space-saving icons.
Whether you suffer from a crowded menu bar on a too-small screen, or you just want to look awfully cool, Menuette's the solution!
The first picture shows how your menu bar looks without Menuette, and the second with Menuette installed.
If all that flashing makes you dizzy, don't worry: you can turn the animation off,
or tell Menuette to animate an icon only when you click on it, as shown in the screen shot below.
As you can see, the icons are more colorful and easier to pick out than the words.
They also take up less space.
Menuette includes over 140 icons to start you off (more than 50 of which are animated),
and you can easily import or draw more icons with the built-in icon editor.
Choosing which icon replaces which menu title is easy, too: just drag an icon onto the text title in the Menuette control panel.
But Wait! There's More!

In addition to the menu bar makeover, Menuette lets you choose the font (and size) of menu text.
Here's three different examples:
"Enough already," we can hear you shout. "It's wonderful! Give it to me!"
We will... but not until we show you that Menuette also includes WYSIWYG menu fonts.
The Font menu in most of your programs probably looks like the picture on the left below.
With Menuette, though, you'll see the Font menu on the right:
As you can see, this is far more useful.
